Why Grounding is so Important for Meditation?
Grounding is the process of removing the excess charge of an object by means of the transfer of electrons between it and another object of substantial size.
Physics shows us that the earth has a negative charge. And over time, our human bodies could build up a positive charge that can lead us to health problems.
Connecting with Mother Earth we can even out this positive charge and return the body to a neutral state.
The world is made up of electrical and magnetic fields or currents (electromagnetic), as well( including) our bodies. We are endlessly emitting vibrational signals out from our organs, while also receiving them from the objects around us.
In today’s society, people live life more in their head, working long hours with computers, electronics, watching tv, video games and spending more of their time indoors.
By grounding yourself today, you can release into the earth all excessive energies (like anxiety, anger, sadness, worries, guilt, shame, anything that is not serving you, as well as release energies you have absorbed from others and the environment around you.
